every image is cca.85kB
few notes;
"wdr-xxxx.jpg"=>768x576(mjpeg)->kerneldeinterlaced->bicubicresize(512,384,0,0.75)
"wdr-xxxx-deint-declick.jpg"=>768x576(mjpeg)->kerneldeinterlaced->declick->bicubicresize
"wdr-xxxx-resize-declick.jpg"=>768x576(mjpeg)->kerneldeinterlaced->bicubicresize->declick
obviously much more effective when applied after downsizing
(as opposed to applying it immediately after the deinterlacing)
last segment of video (from "wdr-0056") gave it some
trouble;you'll notice how faces are too much blurred (this was so
during the complete scene) as if the filter thought people's
faces were dots too....(you can't argue that there are some
"dots" on people's faces when watched from a
distance;eyes,nose,mouth...but those sholdn't be removed.....)
so the main problem is the blur in the areas where there
shouldn't be any........
(as it's hard to differentiate real "clicks" from the
image content that looks like clicks (small "dotty"
details in the image)
[test re-done;old one was confusing,more appropriate end
resolutions used now,clearer explanations on the image
naming,more images......
copyleft 26.08.2003. by i4004:everyone is invited to make some
more tests of this filter which might prove me wrong.........in
fact i would love that to happen.........i would also love to
test K.Atkinson's simillar filter and compare these two....let's
hope he'll get that thing working...soon....(i have a movie on
vhs that needs it badly)]
